"On a cold, almost wintry, blustery day in the northern reaches, the flaring tail of a falling Nephel was lost in the crisp overpowering light of the sun..." This was the 25th of Ashoun, 187 during the Fourth Age. Unfortunetly not much is really known about the Nephel, except that she will readily speak of Zörena, being a devout follower in her own bumbling way, and she inexplicably trusts fate and her duty.

The most notible thing about the Nephel, is that she is blind, yet she is able to discern the fates through a number of ways, most popularly thorugh scrying as well as other means. Lacrima hardly speaks of herself, prefering to keep silent as her understanding of the world is very limited because of her obvious blind defect and young age upon this side of the world. Any information gleaned would readily be better off found through Eisen - a fellow companion she travels with. Although his telling and retelling tends to become more fantastical with each passing breath.

Truthfully, she has gathered a seemingly odd assortment of characters in her mere three years of wandering upon Sidereus. The first of being, Eisen Russ, a loud, occasionally obnoxious - human man of whom, she recognized the hand of fate upon him the moment he had found her. It took much trying, especially on her part, to end up down on a southerly direction, but the two managed. Her survivability quite miraculous from his dashing off and leaving her alone within the heat of battle. The others that were gathered, were Cian and Nionel, two other nobles. They formed the Skyfire Fellowship, Lacrima being the leader. And finally Senta - an enigma to Lacrima's limited understanding and he who gave her the nickname Lacy. Each of them, though Lacrima excluded from this - had a visitation where a sentinel of Zörena was sent, and each of their lives are more important to her than her very own.
